"SEW FUN" - Something new for kids.

"Sew Fun", the newest booklet from the American Home Sewing & Craft Association is an innovative, engaging 24-page publication that features six fun sewing projects for children 8-12 years to create alone or interactively with an adult.

"Sew Fun" was developed to be kid-friendly with appealing brightly colored illustrations, easy language and larger size type. Projects were selected by a committee that reviewed them for ease of construction, adaptability to decoration and child appeal.

Each project is simple, has step-by-step instructions and draws on kids' imaginations so they will find a sense of accomplishment as they complete their very own wind sock, tote, tic-tac-toe board, autograph pillow, friendship bracelet or holiday stocking.

Children are taught everything they will need to know from setting up a work space and shopping for supplies to special techniques and vocabulary as they work on each special project.
